Ditto - on rain water for all our water supply (including topping up pool) Hate when you get town water and it reeks of chlorine.

Thanks for the info @BD1959 , doing similar run on Wednesday, SYD/AKL/MEL/SYD. With 35 minutes to connect in AKL. They May just put me back to the later ALK/SYD flight, which means I will have to chase ORC, which I will need to get over the line for WP again.

O.M.G, is Kresta still around? Used them 40 years ago at our first home and swore never to use again. Having said that, we lived at our present home for about 5 years before we decided to do anything about blinds/curtains etc.

From perusing some of the sites, it looks like each listing will tell you what is expected when you stay at their home, and whether for example a car is provided. I have not seen many that have pets, and agree it's not something I would want to do. I am on holidays, not "house sitting".

I checked out of Wolli Ck this morning. Daughter arrived on QF12 so just waited until she & SIL cleared customs and swung around to the 15 minute pickup area, then drove us all back home. (Hunter)
