Out of curiosity is 1.55c per point considered a good deal? (Or for wine purchases?) Normally go the Credit Card route for points (which usually equates to ~0.002c per point (I.e 90,000 pts for ~$225)

I rarely buy from VM and have only done so where I know the winery/wine (and the label!). Would be interested to know if anyone regularly buys from VM and, if so, what are they buying? What entices you to buy what they offerring? I find it such a disingenous, and frustrating, model/retailer...

You sound suprised? Any VM "sale" is interchangeable with the other one.... and also non sale marketing spiels.

Blackwell generally a nice, consistent, wine. Good value at $26.25 p/b. 2020 was good from memory. Had a 2018 a few weeks back and it was very good.

Clearly didn’t pay any attention to feedback (mine anyway) provided from the last whiskyfo event. A number of those whiskies are often found at those prices or cheaper. Another marketing ruse by the Fo!

I don’t think you just “get” $50 off when you spent $150… pretty sure it is a promo/voucher code which, when used at checkout, gives you $50 off where you spent $150.

$480 -> $50? That definitely sounds like it will be high quality red(!). Surely you can’t actually get away with that sort of marketing? And surely no one is buying it…? No other retail industry where someone would fall for that sort of garbage.
