This is not true unless VFF IT is completely useless (possible but hopefully not). VFF should be able to see a history of changes so they should be able to see what has changed or restore data from the account from a historical backup.

Not so far. I understand that is the normal process with the redeemed entry followed a couple of days later by the points entry. Maybe their systems have been affected by the big IT outage. I will wait a few days.

No Qantas love for me. I didn't expect it on the Velocity Escape cards but maybe I missed out on other cards as used the offer last time.

I bought an error fare on November 8 2016 on Virgin Australia website - Y fare from Sydney to London return on SIA for A$761. Early the following morning I also snagged Sydney - Guangzhou return in Y on VA website for Mrs SS on SIA for A$281. I vaguely remember that SIA had loaded fares...

Perhaps Qantas should have just said they are revamping 'Points plus Pay' providing better value than the previous iteration. That would have been a marketing winner and we wouldn't be debating the devaluation of CR into CR+.
