Points value is different for every loyalty scheme and sector, hotels, airlines, whatever. 5 times the points of AA is irrelevant it's what is costs and is worth to you and you alone. My metrics will be different from yours on how I decide where to go and whom to fly.

Or, management know they won't get the changes through staff and want a third party to point it out. Having been in a similar position in wanting to improve productivity, asking the staff to make suggestions works if you do it in the right way and in person, that is never dismiss anyone's ideas...

Exactly, hence I would take them on and ask for the evidence QF used to make a decision and who in QF made the decision to be put out there for scrutiny.
