I wonder if you'd also be able to use the NZ lounge. It should be open at that time as QR use NZ lounge.

The lounge might get very busy from April with two flights departing basically at the same time

Not really jetstar’s fault - it’s the issue with T2 SYD, lack of baggage holding capacity and no investment in automated bag drop.

Stand space is a real issue at MEL T2 especially at peak times.

I wonder if there’s a very slim chance they could announce a universal change to lounge access for all their intl flights - unlikely but never know!

Pretty much the scheduled i guessed would be put forward. Interesting - SYD, BNE and PER from June and MEL from December - this has changed, PER was originally planned for December and MEL for June.

Will be interesting to see flight timings for the new flights, id imagine additional PER/BNE/SYD flights would want to depart late arvo / early evening (same as the QR989 from MEL) to arrive around midnight for the 12-3am Dept bank. For the DOH-SYD/BNE departures for 12-3am bank make the most...

Do we know if specific aircraft will even be leased? As opposed to leasing for a service, where any number of aircraft can operate it and then be rotated through DOH with other QR flights.
