It’s to do with a change to the fare class BA rebooks upgrades to, as mentioned it used to be I class but now books to U class which is earning in BAEC but doesn’t earn in QF. You should be able to email the original ticket and boarding passes to get the original economy points

If it made it to BME, id imagine it would have been placed on the carousel as they know what flight it came off. It sounds like the tag fell off in SYD and they didnt know what flight to place to bag on.

Generally coffee in the air is revolting - only good coffee was on QR

The meal service on QF also forces Y pax to use the forward lav particularly on longer flights where the cart can be blocking access to the rear for 30 mins +

They dont, similar on QF where up to the crew to "police" the use

Its a lot better since the new orchard extension / new lounges etc, definitely easier than having to change concourses in DXB

QF3 significantly delayed also.

And transferring to JQ T4 in SIN is more laborious than MH in T2

Indeed - although BA has a much bigger long haul fleet to cover for tech issues

Fair bit of infrastructure difference between a train and bus though....

JQ are pretty strict, check in will open 3 hours on the dot - will be dedicated counters for the SGN flight.

The trolley needs to go, other carriers with no trolley seem to do the service much quicker with a much more efficient galley / staff set up

After @serfty post, I also had the bao and the lamb which was fantastic. Even though I might be biased I remain steadfast in that the MEL first lounge is QFs best.

Have to be flying QF, tbh not missing much anyway, it’s pretty awful
