seats.aero Advice for QFF or VA

Try using the multi city search tool and break it up into the individual legs rather than the main booking page.

BA New A380 F Seats coming

I guess one of the takeaways is that BA is likely going to fly this well into the 2030s.

    Qantas reveals A321XLR cabins

Plans change all the time and we already see MEL-DRW- SIN for the a220. It wouldn't shock me if QF pops out a route or two for the 321XLR after a year or two. (A logical route i can think of would be MEL - ADL - SIN for example). Also isn't not having a dedicated long haul Int'l for a while a...

    Emirates receive their first A350

Looks like EK has just taken delivery of their first a350-900 and will have a event soon to show it off. Will be interesting to see what they put in and where they'll fly this. I don't expect Australia to get it anytime soon, but we might see them use it for secondary cities here eventually...

    Qantas reveals A321XLR cabins

Looks like iberia has been flying the 321xlr for a few weeks now as the launch partner. They have a 14J (1-1 lieflat) 168Y configuration. So far it seems that the cabin crew has a bit of a challenge to do meal service and that there's a perpetual queue for the toilets. They are flying these in...

    YouTubers. Youtubers everywhere [Travel Bloggers]

Oh a more interesting channel I've checked out more recently is The Points Guy Departure. They're not just one person and it's quite interesting the content they make.

Part of their charm is that they do just as many luxury travel stuff as they do crazy challenges or go to extreme parts of the world and generally have a very positive and fun on camera attitude to everything.

Qantas A380 reliability issues creeping up again?

Given they were actually airborne and had to turn back it's almost certainly a cancellation. Crew will no doubt be timed out.

Qantas Project Sunrise goes ahead, 12 new A350-1000s ordered

Next minute WSI - LHR! Although is SYD -LHR not a ~20-21h flight? That could easily be a mid morning departure on both ends or mid day.

Qantas Project Sunrise goes ahead, 12 new A350-1000s ordered

Whilst true, they are also probably looking at where can they best deploy their fleet and a juicy profitable route might be the preference rather than an extra frequency to <insert US city>

Qantas A380 refurbishment news and updates

And as i mentioned, it should be a flag to QF if every other major current a380 operator is going through a refurbishment indicating their perception that the a380 will fly well onto the 2030s. Will QF ditch the a380 when the whole a350-1000 come along or turn it into more complimentary...

Qantas A380 refurbishment news and updates

Mostly technological. But also thr jarring nature of a refurbishment coming out in 2026 alongside their a350 F. But yes if they intend to fly longer, the least they need to do is the a330 treatment where Y all gets upgrades. But then if you do that PE is going to be in an awkward spot. Arguably...

Qantas A380 refurbishment news and updates

Thats only partly right. They updated J and PE to a 2014 standard while everyone else is doing a mid 2020s standard refresh. Part of it is they have 2 birds that iirc both need a refurb anyway (i think oqc was still old config, but hasn't flown since precovid and oql). If you're already doing...

Qantas A380 refurbishment news and updates

I think it really comes down to what QF wants to do in the next decade with the a380 and how they want to position themselves in the market. You're seeing the likes of SQ and EK refreshing their cabins for their 380s indicating they want to use them for quite a while longer. LH wont be...

The thing to keep in mind with click bait titles is what is the actual content provided. the nature of youtube means that you need to have a flashy click bait thumbnail. But if your content is still good, thats more than fine as it's practically an algorithm requirement to have some level of...

Alex more or less confirmed BA was already in the scoping / planning phase of a direct LHR - Australia route and eyeing the sunrise situation.

Qantas Project Sunrise goes ahead, 12 new A350-1000s ordered

Was just listening to on air with Dan and Alex. Alex has just let known that because of the success of PER-LHR and that Qantas and Airbus is solving the technical aspect of project sunrise, that 2 other airlines are looking at similar routes. One being BA and the other he can't say yet.

    The Qantas Newbie Questions Thread

Did you search for 2 people as well? Generally speaking EK never release 2 F seats far in advance for any route.
