    It's more of the timing overlap than anything else. Covered Feb/Mar/April for me if i expect another DSC in Q1 2025. Also people aren't quite talking about it as much hut there seems more value in this round with QBR also offering double points. I'm not sure if those will count as tier points...

I could book regular Business reward flight on 30 Sept 2025 for HKG but for all flights in Oct 2025, they haven't opened D or I class (nor CR). I wonder if this is a way to restrict tickets until they are also ready...

    That's part of the reason im trying so hard to get on JL's a350-1000 (a351). That J class looks right up there now. These are my friends photos. At the same time im also trying to see if I can get CX's 77w flights since thats also likely to be upgraded to Aria suites by the time we fly.

    Could be for various reasons. Low travel now but huge ramp up the year after. Or having loads of Y travel or partner OW travel which are low earning for QFF status.

    Speaking of which, would you fly out differently to specifically catch the JL A351 over their b789 now? (A351 being a less ideal departure date). I'm looking at HND - LHR flights and plenty on their 789 but very very few seats on their 351 planes.

    Direct routes vs indirect routes. Anything departing SIN would suggest locals looking which is a different market to Australian going to places. Btw did you take a look ar partners as well? TK should also be on the route.

    Probably pretty low. After all you did pay for it ar normal fare prices (minus taxes i believe). Of course when Operational need arises then anything goes.

    The problem with that is that if its not available to QF then even if itd available to Avios users, if QF can't see it then it won't matter. QF needs to be able to book the tickets for OWA.

    Something about 25% is not taking over the company =/. I wonder if Bain will need to have at least some sort of frame work plan for FIRB as to having a second major investor for VA so as to not just have VA's sole major investor be QR.

    I don't think there's much fear of that. AFF and other saavy travellers might take advantage of this, but until WY flies to Australia, the majority of the flying public won't even consider it. Heck i wonder if most people even realise where Oman is.

    It would given a significant portion of people still book through TAs. Having every TA turn against you is something even QF can't afford. Whilst there are some monopolistic routes and options, for the most part there are plenty of options of choice especially when travelling overseas.

DL naturally has a challenge I believe (although they just enhanced it over the last 12m) and SQ also has an off the books match which could see some more offers being made if VFF elites that regularly book SQ ask them for...

    It might be there already exists a CR on CX for MNL - HKG. When i was booking the agent proactively offered a flight i wasn't considering before but showed on her screen.
