I was just looking around at stuff for Oct 2025 and noticed interesting things. I could book regular Business reward flight on 30 Sept 2025 for HKG but for all flights in Oct 2025, they haven't opened D or I class (nor CR). I wonder if this is a way to restrict tickets until they are also ready...

Seems now that Aeroplan can book NH J again, this might be better option than VFF (cost wise) since they have the same award space now.

This thread is OWA which is a Qantas product. It has to be Qantas availability on QFF points using OW.

The problem with that is that if its not available to QF then even if itd available to Avios users, if QF can't see it then it won't matter. QF needs to be able to book the tickets for OWA.

It would given a significant portion of people still book through TAs. Having every TA turn against you is something even QF can't afford. Whilst there are some monopolistic routes and options, for the most part there are plenty of options of choice especially when travelling overseas.

Because that flight has been consistently cheaper (lower loads) throughout this whole year. In fact when booking Y for November trip, the evening departure were down to flex only at $1800 whilst the morning had super sale at $550. You're probably in the minority that wants the morning flight...

It might be there already exists a CR on CX for MNL - HKG. When i was booking the agent proactively offered a flight i wasn't considering before but showed on her screen.
