Would love to know the outcome of this please. I’ve recently applied for the HSBC premier account through that same link. Account says premier at the moment, as does my debit card. However chat person says have to meet the requirements for 6 months and no RM assigned yet either. So bit confused...

For those who use HSBC premier to get a US premier account. How long does it take from account setup to get premier status? Is it 6 months? Any ways around it?

Could anyone who have completed an international transfer of MR points to their US account please explain the process? I’ve tried a few times to initiate the transfer but have been reluctant to progress with it as they can’t seem to provide an exchange rate for the AUS to US transfer and saying...

Is there no other Bonvoy card to downgrade the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant to? I was having a look at the US website but it seems to be the only Bonvoy card. I thought I recalled there being a lower tier one, but I must have been mistaken or perhaps they pulled it?

Marriott Bonvoy Brilliance seems to have been devalued somewhat for anyone who has that. $300 Marriott credit now becomes monthly $25 dining credit instead.

I use the gold for meals. Use the explorer for most else.

Is there a fee to use Revolut? I was comparing it with Wise. I’m getting a slightly lower fee as compared to Wise, however rate seemed to always be slightly worse. I did notice others above have mentioned that Revolut’s had better rates for them? Unfortunately I haven’t noticed that.

I know right. 😂 Last time they run one such offer, I definitely used it in Canberra, so that would appear to be a worldwide one. Although that did appear on my Brilliant (did not have the gold then).

Recently received Marriott Luxury spend $500 get $100 and Marriott spend $250 get $50 back, but terms state only in the US, Canada and a few other locations. Do people who’ve utilised previous similar offers noticed if the terms have always said US only? I’ve used one such Marriott one before...
