If you add 70 cases of a mystery box it will usually exceed the number in stock, showing how many are available. Used this as a guide last time to pick the lowest number of a case. Ended up gettinf a range of Bin 311 and 389 Penfolds. Could be luck, might not be. Will get a sense this time...

Can get Gables for $15 each quite readily. Black Label around $25 (see BoozeBud as example). $75 for 3xBL and $45 for 3x Gables = $120. Not the greatest of deals FWIW

From the WB GL you got it would seem there weren't too many cases of significant value. Certainly the $75 boxes. Will probably avoid another round of this, dunno.

For what I could have got, yes, for the actual cost no. Not wines I would actively buy but it's a good time of year to re-gift. Last iteration I got the Chalambar 2017 six pack. Way better outcome that time.

Wasn't expecting a mix, thought they would only be producing from original products so more likely to get a straight case. Looks as though there's more stock this time around as it was a pretty quick turnaround for cases to become unavailable. Wasn't really a follow-up on AFF. No gloating of...

My strategy was to add 50 cases to my cart and see if they had high stock, which I would assume are the lower end wines available. When there were only a few cases of a box, I purchased that one. No idea if it works given I didn't use this system last time. Will report back on success rate.

Got a 6 pack of 2017 Chalambar for $75 last time. Not bad.

True. I jumped on that one too though not to the extent you did it would seem! Haven't tapped a 2016 BL as yet. You had a chance? Was thinking of letting it lie for a good few years first.

Bonus bottle works with individual bottle purchase. Black label (2016) for $91 plus bonus bottle worth it?? From memory the 2016 wasn't rated as highly as other vintages.
