Not sure how much 'control' VA have here. Given that it's only on feeder routes for QR, and not even on a route that has a lot of destination traffic of its own, and not on any other routes, and not with any VA crew/personnel involvement, and where QR has long been seeking an increase in its own...

Depends on your aim - are you staying mostly on the ship, or in air conditioned tours? Or are you keen to spend a lot of time exploring the sights?

It's not something they offer. They can book them as separate flights (subject to individual availability), but not combine them on a single ticket. Only the connecting flights that are shown are offered.

Agree with the above. I also never understood the rationale. That is because the underlying fares paying for the points earned have similarly increased over time. So they have earned more revenue to pay for those points. Now, maybe lately more points have come from external sources than flights...

Haven't seen anyone get any auto transfers yet, while lots of manual, so that would be the same I expect.
