Velocity Plat reward flight with Etihad - MEL to LHR- Lounges/Perks?

I imagine you should have lounge access in both Melbourne and Abu Dhabi: https://experience.velocityfrequentflyer.com/flying-status/flying-with-status/platinum-membership#20 https://www.virginaustralia.com/au/en/travel-info/at-the-airport/lounge/international/#etihad

Virgin Australia Business Class - Meals, Menus & Service

PER-BNE 22nd April Quiche - was a bit average unfortunately (like my photography skills!) Cheese & crackers were handed out in the second half of the flight.

Qantas reciprocal relationship with KLM/Air France (2020 onwards)

I was mostly hoping for seat selection on the KLM website after adding my QFF details. The KLM website is obviously set up to allow the QFF details to be added (it's shown as a choice in the "Loyalty" details of the passenger information), but it's buggy/doesn't save.

Qantas reciprocal relationship with KLM/Air France (2020 onwards)

Yep - same here, attempting to add QFF numbers shows "Successfully updated!", but retrieving the booking again shows no frequent flyer details associated with the passenger.

How to book Velocity Amex free flight?

Thanks for the tip, but I haven't changed the name. I had to tweak the phone number (it was adding an additional (second) 61 to the front and then complains it's not a valid Australian number). I'll try phoning tomorrow.

How to book Velocity Amex free flight?

It would be easier, although in this case the value of the flights is more like ~$450 (PER-MEL return choice fares)

How to book Velocity Amex free flight?

Having problems with the compflight site again yesterday/today. Can go through and select flights, but get a generic "Unable to process booking" message at the final step. Anyone else used this with success recently?

    Velocity reinstates Singapore Airlines redemptions

I always thought a good use of them in WA might be to Christmas/Cocos Islands where there is only economy anyway, and prices tend to be quite high.

    SQ Tips, Trips and Tales

Does anyone know if to board a VTL flight and transit in SIN, you need to have only been in VTL approved countries in the previous 14 days? I can see from the government guidelines, there is no requirement for travel history - just proof of vaccination and possibly also a covid test to board...

What is Virgin Australia's strategy (post-administration)?

True, I was thinking more when people might go on a longer trip and travel around Europe rather than getting there and back from Australia. Same as Alitalia and Air Berlin didn't really have connections with VA flights.

What is Virgin Australia's strategy (post-administration)?

Off the top of my head I believe TAP, SAS, Copa, and Lufthansa/Swiss/Austrian might use Sabre well. Even discounting Star Alliance, VA probably needs a new Europe partner (not that the previous ones were that great). Lufthansa could be a good option.

Virgin may be forced to give up Sydney Airport slots to other airlines

I guess with the loss of the A330s, that east-west flights might be more frequent on 737s to replace them (assuming a "normal" demand as per pre-covid, which is probably an assumption you can't make).

Virgin Australia to lease more 737s

I believe the power in Business is in the recessed storage/pocket on the side of each seat.
