No luck with that one, just not enough info to go on. I went through the Ballarat Wine Show results as far back as 2017 but didn't find a 2014 pinot that won gold, and sadly I can't find earlier show results.

Greenstone existed in Heathcote since 2003 but only in the Yarra Valley since 2015; as a long-time lover of Heathcote wines, it's been on my radar for quite a few years :) Edit: every single vintage of the Heathcote shiraz rated by Halliday from 2006-2016 scored 94 - 96 points - very consistent...

Greenstone is correct and it's an excellent wine for the price if you like Heathcote shiraz. VM were also recently selling the 2012 vintage of this wine which is also lovely.

Excellent point, juddles - Dan's are regularly cheap and quick to match other prices (a few recent Aldi offers were matched before the weekly specials went live). It's a shame they're not always good on local availability or vintages, but they're keeping other sellers honest with their prices...

It's from Umamu. I haven't had that one, but have been happy with the 3 other reds of theirs I bought recently - a mature Margaret River cab merlot at that price is great value as long as it's good, and I'd expect this one to be good but not amazing.
