Was $31.78 when I purchased some in June from Dan's.

Really need to know the prices/or at least what you are happy to pay to maximise the value from these clearances.

The Molly Dooker has also been $25 via Vinomofo, although that was approximately 4 years ago.

I rate it highly enough to have payed the $31.78 (less usual discounts. FYI: Shopback has failed to track for Dan Murphy's for me over the past 5 days).

Secret Selection Geelong Shiraz 2014 (looks like its not on the website anymore and was delivered about 2 weeks ago but I've been away).

So this was the Austin and Co Custom Collection 2014 Spencer Shiraz.
Was hoping for something else (too embarrassed to say what I was thinking ).
Never heard of this label (or winery before).

@$25/blt (as secret selection) probably still overpriced.
I could taste/smell the fruits but I think the acid is too high (astringency?).
Tried over 3 nights and it didn't change - very straight ?? (monotone) - I struggle to describe it.
Reminds me of the feel in the mouth that the 2013 Coppermine Road delivered.

Hoping with time the wine will mellow....

ps Shopback was/is supposed to return 10% which brings the purchase down to just under $20/btl.

Mt Pleasant Single Vineyard Semillon $20 a bottle using FRENZY20 - 2015 Mount Pleasant Single Vineyard Semillon

Apparently it's a declassified Lovedale Semillon after the difficult 2015 vintage in Hunter. Not a mind blowing price but looks like a decent Semillon to throw in the cellar, even if just for comparison purposes.

I picked a couple up from Langton's store a few years ago without looking at any notes first - then saw all the comments on tannin so haven't tried one yet. I figure they may as well have a long sleep, but always interesting to keep on eye out for signs of improvement.

Not sure about it being a secret selection.
