Some products can be purchased as a single bottle... such as Wolf Blass Black for $70 or Lindemans Pyrus for $20 delivered with discount

I'm struggling to see the point of a member pre sale of something that's in no danger of selling out anyway.
And their Pre-sale pricing looks to be 10% more than the current vintage pricing.

I've not been able to find value in Penfolds for some years now aside from the occasional discount stacking or clearances.
TWE have progressively taken all value from the Penfolds range. All are over priced these days IMO. I used to buy some or all of 389, 407, 128, 28 & 138 at release every year from Dan's when they used to have good release pricing but these days I'd be lucky to buy a case of 389 in a good vintage.

Penfolds used to be about 20% of my cellar many years ago, maybe more, ,back in the 90's when Bin 707 was $30-$40, Bin 389 under $20. Now there are 3 bottles of 2010 St Henri left there, the rest has been drunk or sold at auction and not replaced. I've been officially "post-Penfolds" for about 6 years now. I've had no problem finding other wines I like to drink and can readily afford.

Cellaredoor.co have a new website - they are giving all customers a $30 credit (NEW30 no minimun spend) some nice deals to be had. Note it is a new website address, and you need to reset password.

Thanks @chonka ordered a single bottle of Seppelt Show Sparkling Limited Release Shiraz 2008 for $65 delivered. Always wanted to try a bottle. I understand it cellars for up to 50 years.

Mine won't cellar that long unless it's for my grandchild.

I went through 15 bottles of the 1994 Show SS, the last in 2017, some under crown seal, it was $45-$55 back then. That was the last until the 2004 and then 2007 release due to brettanomyces and other issues in the winery stocks. The lost one batch due to the fact that the intermediate crown seals they used before final disgorgement had a cork liner, many affected with TCA.

Does anyone else use Cellardoor.co ? There is no button to checkout, I've tried all 3 browsers on Apple desktops and tablets but nothing. There appears to be a hidden button beside the search box but when I hover over it the screen dims and does nothing. Their tech support is woeful, still waiting for a call back.

I used Chrome on my iphone. No issues - Box / shopping cart in top right hand corner. Checkout from there

This wine is an Agency line for DM, direct from the supplier (Brand Group) https://www.danmurphys.com.au/search?searchTerm=1000004528

I couldn't find any other info on the wines or Brand Group, I wouldn't touch this deal with a barge pole, unless the returns policy was like Vinomofo has, but it's not.

I find it interesting that he left Skye Cellars and must have taken their mailing list with him
I just re-read an old saved email exchange from 2009 with John and others at Skye concerning a dodgy wine deal at that time. I haven't bought from them or been on their email list since then, but lo and behold Wine Nutt has my email addresses. Let's see if they process unsubscribes promptly.

Revisiting Penfolds pricing for a moment - clearly nobody in their right minds will pay retail list prices but still chances do appear - on Apr 7 this year i bought a doz 2012 389 from Dan's at sub $58 - is that not value? Didn't a bunch here climb all over the 2013 / 2014 St Henri through CM last year at about $38ea after the $10/$100 discounts? I ended up with 18 of those. 407 was on special at a very reasonable rate early last year at Dan's also - I have good supply Penfolds in the Cellar and will continue to do so whilst procurable at these prices.
