CDG gets all the widebodies except A330 across 3 daily flights. QR39/40 is always an A380 though. I saw a video report on YouTube recently filmed this year of a MIA-DOH and that 77W had 2-2-2 J, which I was very surprised by.

Could you set up a seat alert in EF for a J seat that would only be available on a QSuite 777? The other option is to check the aircraft used on the routes in Flightradar24, not sure if that’s a pro feature or not (I have Gold so can see everything).

QR have switched to the Marharba lounge in MEL and NZ in BNE/SYD/PER. There’s no reason for VA status pax to not have access now.

An issue in what way? Your seat choice is either window/backwards or aisle/forwards, so depends if you want to be closer to the window or not. From those seats available, personally, I'd take 5K/J, only because they are window seats, 1K is close to the front galley and the mini cabin shares...

Just beware that if you have preferred seat selections if you’re a OW status holder, these will be removed when you add your VA FF number.

Pantry offering I find is usually on-demand. My last flight in J (MEL-BNE) I asked for snacks from the pantry and got them, but then that prompted the CM to offer it to the other pax.

Update on the seat selection… after changing the FF number to VA my seat selections disappeared and to get them back was going to cost over $600. Changed the FF back to QR and will change back to VA at check in.
