I saw this rumour too. I've seen quite a few places with a lot of stock... I wonder if there will be a 10 per card limit.

Well, you have to be quick when you receive an EF notification. I saw the email the moment entered my inbox, went straight to AA.com, wasted about 25 seconds entering my partner's details, and it was gone by the time I clicked through to reserve. :mad:

I can't say I have been to any of the 10K/night Hilton's but I want to. There are a few in KL, one in Kuching and the DoubleTree in Penang is probably the top of my list here.

I just checked mine with them through online chat and I am Diamond through to 3/21 despite hitting $40K right around this time last year and not using it much since.

No. I basically keep the same fee I was paying with the Hilton card which was not free as I've had it a while.

Call centre. It seemed like I wasn't the first person to be switching over - was very smooth.

I switched to the QF version of the card just now. It was very easy to do.

Stays...damn, I have 8 stays planned but a few are multinight with multiple choices in those cities. Hmmmn, probably not worth the hassle for 10K points.

I agree. Asia is where being Diamond is well and truly worth it. I also stay at HSYD a lot and enjoy the upgrade around 1/3 times although it was at a lower rate when I first started staying there often.
