How does Uber redemption work? You use card in same way as credit card, or exchange card for Uber credit which is added to your account?

I’m so glad I read your post as had a very similar experience. Had to phone to get my VA FF number added months ago. Noticed yesterday that prefix was YY instead of VA so phoned Etihad and was told all well, just what they use for non-Etihad. Nonsense! Boarding pass had no FF details at all...

Had a look back and can see I also got bonus points on Oct 3 - 367 points. Labelled ‘BP join bonus’.

Anyone else get their VFF points statement yet? Got mine, and double/triple bonus SCs don’t seem to be included. Weren’t they earned on VA flights, and therefore should be included? Lounges will be empty at this rate. But, as pointed out, that may be the idea.
