Emirates recently retimed the SIN-MEL leg so it is a day flight arriving just after midnight, potentially making J less critical.

I feel your pain and have only done half your flying with about 370 hours in 2018, 2/3rds in Y. An international trip in every month except November. I now find myself opting out of non essential travel and sending my colleagues where possible. I’m sure the passion will return in 2019
