Double Points and DSC [Book by 8/9/17, fly by 6/9/18]

hmm slight hitch with ticketing tonight. Seems like the NZ Amex caused some issues and needed rectifying via call centre for manual ticketing lady on the premium line told me that DSC is based on the date that the booking was made so a delay in ticketing beyond the promo period will not affect...

Double Points and DSC [Book by 8/9/17, fly by 6/9/18]

ended up making two bookings because I got DSC needed to go to HK in January for family things from AKL and it turns out that the T-class premium fare isn't too bad at ~ 2100 NZD during peak season. Also books AKL-SYD into I class so total SC haul is 140 each way (280 return, 560 with DSC) also...

Double Points and DSC [Book by 8/9/17, fly by 6/9/18]

quick question, do the actual bookings have to be done through qantas.com or can I use a travel agent? reason why I ask is that ex-AKL there are good I fares to SFO/LAX for ~4500 NZD which net 520 SC return and I need to get to NYC next may anyways however the fares aren't available on...

Double Points and DSC [Book by 8/9/17, fly by 6/9/18]

What i'm struggling to understand with the rules is that the double points is for LHR, Europe via Dubai or singapore What is more ambiguous is whether the wording for DSC is for ALL QF flights rather than just the restricted ones above....

QF early-2017 award availability - restricted to elite status holders?

well I don't see it as a terrible thing since primarily my status is with QF. I do agree that the burn rates are awful compared to AA (and yes I have booked a F award from AKL -LHR on QF for NOV 2016) but it seems fair that they want to be able to award their higher tier members with seats. I...

QF early-2017 award availability - restricted to elite status holders?

It's very interesting since I'm waiting for the window to open in 48 hours for a flight back from LHR in March 2017 on QF.com logging in as SG I get 28/2 LHR - MEL on QF 10 available in J on BA.com I can't see the same availability so maybe QF is tightening up on premium cabin availability to...

    QF in Manila

I was in the phillipines last october for a holiday. Gave myself 4.5 hours to transfer from T3 to T1 to join a QF flight. Inbound was a domestic PAL flight from caticlan airport (Boracay). Arrived into T3, followed the transfer bus signs after coming out of baggage claim into the main terminal...

    premium economy

I don't think that you can get MKI skybeds for R/T/W fares I have a HND-SYD in april in y+ which shows the old Y+ config with 32W but it no longer has the lower J cabin set aside for Y+ seating. maybe they don't do that anymore?

I didn't actually ask since I was too bogged down the days prior to work in Melbourne. Just waltzed up to check in at that ungodly hour with my QF-codeshare and she handed my a boarding pass saying business and "you'll be flying business today" with a smile :D
