Sorry, poor wording on my part. There was no change in tax owed when I asked for the re-price in AUD / AU point of sale. The first time I made these changes I did pay extra tax.

Not disagreeing with you, but both JQ and QF staff insist that it will credit as business instead. Have you taken a JQ flight that got credited as flex economy? I haven’t, so I’m just working off what the (usually incorrect) customer support have said.

In the BNE Int lounge for the next ~15 mins. Lounge is incredibly full and I saw staff turn away a bunch of people. At least the food is good!

Yeah, that's a good point. I was imagining 15 mins as a "best-case" scenario (I have done it in 15), but maybe it's a better call to estimate longer.
