MH - Serious breach of trust and mishandling of booking

I sent the following email to Malaysia Airline on Friday. 48 hours has passed and I am posting this here to share with everyone. As I am typing this post, my booking is still in limbo and I have now talked to 11 people at MH! I made and paid for flights from HKG to MEL via KUL in late July...

90SC short of Gold and one week to go

Yes QC membership is just as good if you fly mostly domestic. The Busines Class lounge is very similar to Q Pub. Different story if you are going to fly lots international.

    Unsuccessful claiming missing point

I paid for an MHUpgrade a few months ago and got J class SC with QF. The original booking class is eligible for SC.

Points : Cathay Pacific or QFF

If the booking says it's M then it is M. There may be more than 1 class for economy flex.

Points : Cathay Pacific or QFF

It is generally easier to get status with Qantas if that's what you want. For points, you will get more with Qantas if flying Qantas domestically. It is a lot easier to get points with credit cards purchases.

WP travelling on EK (not code share) lounge access

Ok I got it. Next time I'll say "some people can be really thick". For lounge access rules, I don't like them but I understand why that is the case. They are not Qantas operated lounges. My complaint has always been the info on Qantas website.

WP travelling on EK (not code share) lounge access

Apologies for calling someone thick. I would like to find out the definition of "attack any other individual". Is the following post an "attack" on an individual? Re: WP travelling on EK (not code share) lounge accessI think their website makes it as clear as it can be for anyone who reads...

WP travelling on EK (not code share) lounge access

Yes you have a point. Footnote 39: Qantas marketed flights are flights with a Qantas (QF) flight number on the ticket. It seems that Qantas trying to say that the Emirates flight needs to be a Qantas marketed flight. It looks like the person drafting it forgot to do it probably. But my main...

WP travelling on EK (not code share) lounge access

Unbelievable. Why don't you have a look at Emirates' website and let me know. I am trying to find out Qantas frequent flyer benefits not Skywards benefits.

WP travelling on EK (not code share) lounge access

Where does it say they are conditions for QF lounges? It covers QF first lounges, QF business & associated lounges, oneworld lounges. If you click on "worldwide lounge locations" you will find out DXB is one of them.

WP travelling on EK (not code share) lounge access

Please read the part in bold carefully: Platinum members may access the following lounges when your next onward flight is on a Qantas39, Emirates39, Jetstar Airlines4 or oneworld operated and marketed flight32 regardless of class of travel. International Lounge access before your flight...

WP travelling on EK (not code share) lounge access

As a WP I looked for what I am entitled to. That led me to the information I posted. Should I then try to find out if there is contradicting information in another page?

WP travelling on EK (not code share) lounge access

I don't understand what you mean. "International Lounge access is also provided to one guest and up to two children (aged 4-17 years)35who are travelling with you on the same flight" means that I can take 2 kids into an International Lounge.
