I applied for this card on Monday morning. It was approved on Monday evening and the card arrived in the mail today. Easy process. So, to get the 110,000 Velocity points, I assume I don't need to enrol in Points Autosweep until later? The T&Cs say:

That’s when it took off, but the scheduled departure time is based on when the aircraft leaves the gate. Which appears to have been 9 minutes after the scheduled time. Either way, I don’t think this was a factor in what happened later in the flight.

It was running just slightly late, but not by much (left less than 10 minutes behind schedule).
