Made my first call to QF in 14 months yesterday. As a P1 the old contact has been replaced with a VIP Premium line - I got right through at around midday. As a WP surely there shouldn’t be a 60min wait time? Is there a revised number to the one on the back of the FF card?

Nice one! I was stuck in a meeting so I’ll just settle for the view from Bondi with my camera and tripod and hope it doesn’t get cloudy! PS. I wonder how the target P1 list was chosen? Customers from previous scenic flights?

Thanks for the seat maps....my EF account has expired and I didn't renew! It is good they have blocked the middle seats and most people who get a seat will be happy - I hope the view is a spectacle and not just a regular looking Moon that can only be seen one side of the aircraft for most of...

Also the position of the moon with regards to the horizon is important - the further it rises the less the atmosphere applies magnification. The flight is 7:30pm and returning by 10:30 so not sure how that relates to moon rising. Edit. Just called Qantas for the first time in 14 months!!!!

Are they only selling window seats or the entire seat map? I saw the video of the Aurora flight and thought what good is it having a middle seat with no window view? The Aurora looked amazing - the window PAX certainly got their moneys worth...

Learning that some 2000 aircrew have been arriving in Sydney each week I am surprised an outbreak hasn't happened sooner - letting them basically do their own thing by self isolating in one of 26 hotels after simply signing a declaration is crazy!

Imagine what happens when some award seats become available during school holidays and 1000 QFF’ers get a notification email all at the same time 🤣 Could be a reason to stick with EF if their notification is more timely...

Certainly they don't need to comp P1 but when else have they downsized so many flights and routes in such a short space of time? This period of time is looking to be more serious than GFC of '08 when it comes to markets, business travel, health, etc
