Can confirm you can "top up" and have the full points credited. My car purchase last year was on prestige and I had to credit my account to pay for it.
To be honest, and with the amount of time you fly with SIA, they probably think you are an unofficial state head of Vic. Obvious to provide that kind of service (a) they value you as a customer (b) they take their Customer Service seriously.
That is a bit unfair. When we arrived back to Mel this year in Jan, we've had the service availed for our whole family (my wife and 6yr son). Was not charged a single penny. Guess you may want to speak with someone else in concierge. There is a guy called Tamar (Fred is his english name I...
Just hanging for me Cruiser on Android app. Just wouldnt budge much. Deleted and reinstalled with not much improvement.
Are there any tangible improvements??
Great value CE. To further add to this,
Just had our complimentary night in Sheraton Malaysia confirmed and availed the Limo transfer to airport paying additional US$50 (due to us being more than 30kms from airport). With the Hhonors into picture through rewards, booked 3 Nights in Double Tree...
What I find ironic is the attitude of endlessly debating on changes and the uncertainty around its effects, followed by being antsy on individuals who provide certainty to a certain issue.
My question to the CSR has addressed this problem and provided more certainty on the changes and its...
Just has an email from Citi. The allowable quote for Melbourne is also 30kms.
Also if one were to still take up the complimentary transfers, they have to pay the charges per kms after 30kms. Still works out better!!!
Just off the phone to Citi Concierge regarding complimentary Limo transfers. I was advised that their service providers started to enforce the 25kms limit since the beginning of this year. I did object and indicate that I have had them for free last year. The CSO said he will look into it but...
I usually have 2 savers booked and 1 on waitlist - that ends up being ticketed between 7-10 days before the actual travel date. So 3 is achievable, but not in one go.
You Sir - don't have to be modest about that. We all have learnt a fair few things and benefitted from the advice here on AFF. At least for me, I have benefitted a lot from your posts and information.
Possible, Regularly score 3J from Mel->Sin. Always get ticketed for 2 J savers straightaway, but gets waitlisted for the other J. This usually clears (at least for me) a week before flight, although this time it only cleared 3 days before.
I have $60 Changi Vouchers (General Use) to give away. The transit time was so less that we couldn't spend it on something useful (yes, yes - also not on liquor). Please PM and I shall post it. Expires Mar 2015. My next trip is however in April, so it is of no use to me.
Re: Book the cook suggestions by departure city
The nicest Chicken Tikka Kurchan Masala I've ever had departing Sin->Mel. Also the Wife was quite happy about Nasi Biryani. Lobster was so-so from Mel->Sin.
Used my quote of 2 for this year. From home was a Caprice in Melbourne and In Bangalore was a 3 series. Can't fault the professionalism of the drivers and the service. In fact, I might pay for this service (at visa preferential rates).
