I tried to "convert" the plat edge to reserve, but they don't let you do it, I was sent a new application form to apply (can't apply online as it recognises the Explorer as Plat Reserve)

The Explorer / plat edge combo is useless post April, bonus categories are gone and transfer rates are the same

Hi Fitz, Why dont you max out the Amex payment then use bpay for the balance? My bpay to Amex gets processed same day (around 10-11pm) if I make a payment before 5pm

There's an easy solution to the "kids in business class" problem. Charge parents more for the child - something like double or triple, if the kids behave refund the difference to the parents, if they don't pass the money to passengers that were impacted by the bad behaviour. Win / win for everyone
