MMB = Manage My Booking, where all your trips are listed

On MMB page, you could press the upgrade button for the booking and it will quote you the required number of points. There is (I think) two further clicks/steps before you commit to requesting an upgrade (even then you can cancel at no penalty right?)

It is apparent that QF prefers to send out the renewal packs few weeks in advance rather than hold off - I got back from overseas to find a new PS card in the mail yet the last flight I flew took me "over the line" to SG.. Maybe QF doesn't want us without a card (or likely their money card)...

Called QF (surprisingly answered the phone within 5mins rather than the usual 1hr+ - maybe benefits of getting to SG), they didn't have any other codes. So called AA in SYD and they gave it to me.

Reporting back, QF check-in just tagged luggage thru to KUL. On another note, 3K staff at the gate made me check my carry-on (not oversized) on the premise of a full flight. I have never seen the overhead compartments so empty on a full flight...

Thanks everyone. I have always thought that QF ref would not work on the AA website. I have tried it and it wouldn't accept. Frustrating but might have to call QF!

I have booked on QF ticket: MEL-LAX-ORD and want to select a seat for LAX-ORD on AA. I don't remember how to obtain the AA booking reference from the QF booking reference. Can anyone help? checkmytrip.com doesn't list the AA code.
