In T3 security is mostly shared between two adjacent gates. A few have more gates shared but generally won't have more than a couple of flights leaving from those gates within a short period of time.
Still much better than centralized security screening for predictability of how long it will...
Crowne Plaza is landside (but connected to terminals) so need to enter Singapore.
Next day check in 90 mins prior to departure. If already checked in then go to immigration about 1 hour before departure if you don't want to spend time in lounge or shopping. Immigration is always quick at SIN...
I like SIN security being at the gate. The trick is to arrive at the gate approx 20 mins prior to departure (allowing for delays if on QF!). Queue is then short and straight through to board.
I've connected in SIN hundreds of times.
Perhaps a possible buyer for Auckland when the council gets around to selling down its ownership stake?
AKL owns a lot of adjacent land so makes a lot of money from its property holdings.
Thus kind of situation occurs fairly often in NZ on the main routes between akl, wlg, chc. No availability for a day or more due to insufficient capacity for demand.

The new direct bus service goes directly to sky city - no other stops. It also requires pre-booking although I assume at quiet times you could just book immediately after your flight lands and still get the next bus.
Also conside ex-nz. Cheaper fares, more SC, and seems no issue in showing ek flights to Europe. Depending on fare rules you may even be able to stopover in Aust (so can use to position for the next ex-nz ticket).
For NZ based P1s seems to have been bubbles or nothing. I got bubbles but know others who got nothing. I earned 11k SCs during 2022 (should have been more but cancelled trips due to getting covid). The others I know earnt much less.
And no Christmas vouchers either.
On a positive note the gent...
I've flown all airlines A380 except NH and HiFly. Most of these in F some in C. I've flown well over 200 A380 flights & 1 million flown miles (for me the third most flown a/c type by distance behind 747 and 777).
