Unfortunately can’t knit or crochet

Sorry if this has been spoken about. Hopefully I will be returning to PNG in a matter of 3 weeks or so. As I have to quarantine in a hotel there, suggestions of what I should be taking. Presuming I won’t be able to order anything in from outside. Hopefully hotel food is ok, fingers crossed...

Not in isolation yet, but I was due to fly to PNG yesterday but was told by mine not allowed back in. I had bought heaps of food to take in. Hubby still there but I presume will be back sooner rather than later, so went shopping today to stock up in preparation for the self isolation. Problem...

But the thing is, it is so hard to get onto the travel agent. My brother-in-law has been trying for hours to get through. Whereas if he had booked with qantas direct, he could cancel online.

With the self isolation, it’s going to be difficult if not impossible with fifo workers who commute overseas. My husband and I are residential in PNG but have many friends who do fly in, fly out. If they continue to work they will have to isolate for their whole break. Another friend commutes...

I might have just about kept Gold this year but I opted to use family pooling to make my hubby silver. Being Gold helps so much with checking in at Priority line and the lounge is so useful as I can sometimes have hours in between flights. Had a trip to Japan in December, family had great fun...

Where do you go bike riding? Hubby is very much into riding, almost every night after work and sometimes 3 times on the weekend. Very mountainous riding up towards the mine.

Has anyone travelling domestic in POM has this happen or heard of this rule? I had put my luggage through at checkin and as I was overweight, I grabbed 3 cans of food (as you do) and put in my carry on. When I went through security they said I wasn’t allowed to take cans onboard. I asked why not...
