What has happened to immediate upgrades on domestic flights if an available business class award is available at the time of booking? Have requested the upgrade but hasn't been confirmed and there is definitely award seats available.

Have just had our NAB home loan opened earlier this week and am on the choice package which includes a credit card (needs to be applied for). Am looking at the Signature card, and was wondering how long should I wait from having the loan opened to applying for the card? Don't want to be knocked...

Not sure if the right thread or not! Booked my Qantas flights through Amex Travel and received the refund today (refund dated 24/7), nearly 6 weeks after requesting the cancellation. Haven't received my $450 travel credit back yet though.

No I didn't. No change in points for the two transactions from last week. May need to call up and get that sorted. Thinking of cancelling the card anyway. Got an extra 8 points for a $4.53 purchase over the weekend.

Update: have been advised it'll be escalated to our marketing team and investigated and to check back within 5-7 business days for the outcome?!

Had my first supermarket purchase processed today from the 1st of May (beginning of 1 bonus Qantas point per $1 spent) and trying to work out how they worked it out?? Spent $14.85 and for normal point earn on my DJ Amex it has rounded up to $15 for a total of 45 points (22.5 QF points). Above...

I did a purchase on the DJ Amex on Friday at Woolworths, so once that is processed early this week we will see if it is indeed 2.5 points per $1 or 2 points.

The DJ Amex gets an extra 1 Qantas point not 0.5. So you'd be getting 250 Qantas points per $100 spent. The offer doesn't state the bonus points are added before converting to Qantas points. I read it as the extra points are given after the initial 2:1 conversion.
