I was happier flying far from land over the Indian Ocean in the A380 rather than on a twin. I am sure there is little to no difference in the safety records but it is just a state of mind.

The Perth Airport website shows them using an A340-300 with a scheduled flight time of 9hrs 25 mins.

Sugarloaf Rock Cape Naturaliste near Dunsborough. There were 4 or 5 whales Playing around nearby

Treetop Walk - Valley of the Giants near Walpole. The highest point on the walk is 40 metres . The big trees are Tingle Trees, only found in that region, they can reach 70 metres.

Elephant Rocks near Denmark And a couple of hundred metres away is Greens Pool

Premier Hotel Albany. Nothing very exciting but very nice Fish and Chips made with local fish. Battered or pan fried. The taste was helped by the price. Friday Night Special - $20 including a pint of any beer on tap or any soft drink.

Apparently they are usually only there in the hotter months. We have a success rate of 1 in 3. It is still an amazingly beautiful place at ay time.

We had a good day today. Checking out of the Hoover House B&B in Gwalia my wife bought me a book. I put it down to talk the woman at reception and, of course, walked out without it. I remembered it when we were far enough away that it would have cost more in petrol to return than the book...

Slumming it tonight. Hoover House B&B Gwalia. The room The house - designed by future US President Herbert Hoover when he was the mine manager here in 1898. And turning around from looking at the house - the reason for the existence of everything here. Slightly enlarged since Hoover's days.
