Successful PE to J on QF16 today as a WP - only advised 28 hours before departure, unlike previously when I was advised 70 odd hours before. I had to call to get seat allocation thought.

QF15 BNE-LAX WP Y+ to J successful 21 Jan. Requested a month ago - each class on the flight looks to have decent availability (Y+ perhaps the least).

QF16 LAX BNE 14 Jul 17 - applied for Pe to J points upgrade but was 400 points short :( received about 4 SMS messages advising I was short on points from T-72 hr out which I suspect was QF attempting to allocate a spot for me each time. But lucky me, received an OP upgrade when I checked in...

At 193cm tall WP this is a material loss for me, and will influence my flying choices.

I was able to access seat selection this morning using Chrome. After I had to input the second SMS code on login.

Although I'm a WP I wouldn't say that I'm loyal to Qantas. I fly with them because it is in my interest - in this case because of the benefits of the QFF program (for me early access to extra leg room seats, better chance on upgrades, and lounge access). But if Qantas didn't offer these...

Flying BNE-PER tomorrow, booking is in the "My Trip" section and says "You are checked in" but I can't access the boarding pass.

I've had that seat about a month ago - superb. Leg room, no one climbing over you, near the front of the cabin. Only downside is the occasional bump from the trolley.
