Credit Card Offers Qantas Premier Titanium: 150,000 bonus Qantas Points

By this point I think those that have loudly and proudly declared their intentions to sign up will do so... ...and in the other corner over here, I've made just one CC signup in the last 12 months. Outrageous! /s

    Centurion joining fee waiver

Nope, I couldn't justify the benefits. The points earn is tepid and the status perks are water to me. Then again this was before the devaluation was announced. I may have joined if I knew that was coming...

    Centurion joining fee waiver

Well damn it, they didn't waive it when I asked nicely :(

    Iron Flower

As a Chinese person that regularly visits for LNY, it's sad to see that you won't be allowed to set off fireworks in major urban centres any more. I mean fair enough. We're talking full-scale fireworks. Bought and set off by regular citizens. In majorly-populated areas.

Australian humour doesn't translate well when Poe's Law comes into play heh.

I'm sure people like Dr Ralph would beg to differ  I wasn't the one calling you an idiot, but I know to whom you're actually responding *shrugs*

Credit Card Offers Qantas Premier Titanium: 150,000 bonus Qantas Points

Not to mention a sensible AFFer would only ever consider the Titanium after they have exhausted all other superior point-sweeping options which, given the height of the bar this card has set, are plentiful. When the average AFF regular (I suspect) has a surplus of points than they know what to...

So... what car do you guys drive when not flying?

I'm definitely getting one of those 'kids these days will never understand' vibes, but as a 27yo I'm absolutely fine with not missing what I've never experienced :P

So... what car do you guys drive when not flying?

Lots, $2700 or something iirc. But then again, it was the entire car (inc wheels), by Opticoat the company themselves and it was opticoat pro+ which includes an initial paint correction and a multi-layer coat, plus longer (7yr) warranty. No regrets.

Credit Card Offers St.George Amplify Signature: 150,000 bonus Amplify Points (expires 30/4/25)

I think CC companies are finally trying to actually ensure your 'loyalty', which some AFFers have previous complained about (in an ironic sense only) that if CC companies want loyalty they need to incentivise it. Ergo, deals like these (something Citibank's started doing some time ago). Agree...

So... what car do you guys drive when not flying?

That is the correct question :):):)

So... what car do you guys drive when not flying?

I should've gotten mine in red, not that Teslas need to be any 'faster'

So... what car do you guys drive when not flying?

Unfortunately that 'somebody else' is me :( On the plus side, my car's opticoated and thus a fortnightly wash takes very little time - the dust just 'falls off' :D

So... what car do you guys drive when not flying?

As my car's a shiny black, would definitely pay a pretty penny for the self-cleaning feature.

Oh right yes, that's right! Totally forgotten the 30+ pages of discussion in that other thread. Going to delete my former comment now.

Better Cards Than Amex Post April 15?

Unless you are one of the few on this forum whose everyday spend is akin to other people's yearly salaries :P

Qantas: 'one of the worst airlines in the free world'

I was surprised that QF actually gave compensation for that. I agree with basically all the commentors in that article - you occasionally get small critters in your food (particularly fresh), to which an (earnest) apology more than suffices; accept it and move on. (though finding larger things...

    Priority boarding my cough

Caught ~15 flights with VA last year (all domestic), and PB was properly enforced on all of them. 15/15 = nubad.

Thanks for the TR. I don't think I'll read one as interesting, informative and of an eccentric destination as yours for a very long time.

SYD to JFK in J with CX - flight report

Even CX's new A350's J made my EWR->HKG (a whole 10min longer @ 16hrs!) flight extremely comfortable. 'Twas also the only time I recall I managed to get a full solid 9hrs of sleep. Amazing.
