Qantas boosts international capacity, wet lease Finnair aircraft

Yes, all true; but the demand is there now so they could do with extra capacity right now as well as the new aircraft coming online over the next couple of years.

Oneworld Classic Flight Reward Discussion - The Definitive Thread

Anything more than 2 pax has always been a challenge; Extremely unlikely using QF but not impossible. OTOH, SQ often has 3, 4 or even 5 seats on the same flight. But the cost in points and taxes is often lower than QL; rvrn duro mg

    Buying Air Canada Aeroplan points

I've seen pax scoop ice out of the bucket to put in their drinks after exiting the toilet; the sort of person who you know doesn't wash their hands! I never put ice in my drinks in a lounge as a result.

St George Amplify has travel insurance for 6-month trips on their top-tiers cards. But you need to check whether any pre-existing health issues are covered. But card includes 3% foreign transaction fee IIRC.

Oneworld Classic Flight Reward Discussion - The Definitive Thread

Over the past 15 years I've booked 8 Oneworld awards for myself & +1. I would have booked a lot more if it wasn't for Covid. I've always tried to book the whole itinerary in one go as I hate paying the 5,000 points per person change fee. In practice, I've never been able to achieve my desired...

I forgot to mention that I was surprised to see the load on QF1298. J was full and from where I was sitting there didn't appear to be many vacant seats in Y. Hopefully this continues as this flight is quite convenient for me.

QF1298 MEL - CFS Our first flight on an A220 and after reading about the number of cancellations and subs I'm wondering if we will get away on time. I didn't need to worry as all was well: we left on time and arrived into CFS a little early after a very pleasant flight. That's all...

La Mer, le Canal & les Pyrénées

Arrival into MEL is a bit of a zoo. First, we park at a remote stand and have to use the stairs with our carry-on bags, then the bus to the terminal where we join the long queue for the smart gates. Eventually we clear immigration and make our way to the baggage carousel. After getting our...

SQ237 SIN - MEL Another on-time departure and we are on our way. This time I ordered the 🦞Thermidor from the book the cook menu. I also had it on our flight to Paris back in June and I acknowledge that I've had better. In fact, I remember that the one I had on the Paris flight was nicer...

Singapore Transit We arrived into SIN at 0445 and our next flight was due to depart at 0025 the following morning so we headed into Singapore on the MRT to do a little shopping. Singapore was typically hot and humid, and we were a little tired, so instead of spending the rest of the day in the...
