No I use snip and pay and yakpay and all are very similar in pure numbers Pay has advantages of being able to buy more credits and transfer to more partners but if just using for the points on a credit card on initial purchase every similar - sniip probably very slightly ahead

From other forums Amex specifically its against T and C to pay yourself I could do using yakpay or pay.com.au to Sunsuper but have a SMSF and they wont let you use a Amex card for that - can use a MC or VISA - this is for australian issued cards - maybe a US amex card would work for a third...
