You will only be able to use the passes in QF owned and operated lounges. So MEL ok but not NRT despite what is showing on the lounge invitation portal in your bookings.

Finally got to try this. Was pretty decent.

A little caveat is that J earnings from Asia to DOH / DOH to USA etc are excellent on QR for QFF. Depends on the OPs route whether or not to credit to QFF. I credit Europe - DOH and any other low earners to a completely different airline FF program, also part owned by QR.

HGI T2/3 is the best option for T2/3 departures. Stayed there multiple times, most recently this week. Fabulous roof top bar that’s open until midnight for the late arrivals. T5 Departures is Sofitel T4 Departures eg early QR to DOH I stay at Hilton London T4 All of these hotels are easy/ quick...

QFF numbers are never normally added to Award seats by QF. You have to do it yourself IME.
