    Make sure AS can see your bag tag number in their PNR. Otherwise they may not onload it as it won't reconcile. As you've found it's becoming harder and harder to do separate ticket through checks on separate PNRs... for this reason it's better to have it all ticketed on one PNR to curb any issues.

    If it's one booking with a bronze and a platinum, the upgrade request, as long as it's requested by the platinum, will be processed at platinum priority. The source of the points for the redemption is irrelevant.

    For SIN (QF-QF and SQ-SQ) and DXB (EK-EK) you'll get incorrect inventory doing this, as segments within 72 hours at SIN/DXB will marry and therefore married segment inventory is how a SIN stopover should be looked at. Unfortunately EF is not capable of handling this scenario correctly.

    How long does partner award ticketing take to issue?

    The ticketing robot takes about 5-10 mins to issue a ticket for any carrier. So if it's any longer than that, either the robot rejected it, or there's something else wrong with the PNR.

    This loophole exists in the old reservations system that up until recently was the main system in use, however they've mostly transitioned to the new reservations system now and the new reservations system does not exhibit the same behaviour.
