Oh, I agree that travel insurance is a must.
I don't agree with being told that there is NO medicare on cruises. There is, but it is up to you to find out from the cruise line.
We decided about 25 years ago that we could not trust the government with us getting a pension. So set out to make our own.

Medicare does cover you so long as you stay in Australian waters and the Dr is registered in Australia.
