BA has two lifetime statuses/statusi. Gold for life, and lifetime Gold Guest List. As @Cynicor has stated there is a difference between Gold and GGL. Status is earned with Tier Points (TPs) which are pretty equivalent to QF's Status Credits. Gold is OneWorld Emerald with all the benefits...

I agree. When there is no dotted line to show which lane is ending the cars should just merge based on who is ahead. If there are multiple cars then it is like a zipper. The woman behind you @JohnK should have given way.

Hotels that don’t make it obvious which floor is reception. The upper lobby, lobby, lower lobby or maybe the mezzanine? You have to read the screen at eye level to find out which one.

My turn: Adrian Newey was unable to be released out of his contract until end 2025. So he has moved to RB to stay in the Red Bull 'family'. SAI and RIC have each subsequently signed a three year contract with RB. No news yet on where TSU will go.

I stayed in an Ibis Budget this week.

I visited the AF lounge in IAD IIRC. I used my Priority Pass to enter so wasn't expecting much. It was crowded and there was not much food left as they were about to close. But they had Taittinger, so that was all that mattered. :D

But would that work as well with assigned seating? Might as well just have groups 1-8 IMO. Footnote: BA have just introduced group 0, for those slightly more important than group 1.
