Worth logging in to check for kids under 15. Found my daughter has been breached despite not having received any emails about her at all. All Qantas comms state they will notify age 15+, nothing about those under.
Some good advice here on monitoring breaches and passphrases instead of passwords.
I have a primary email account and a seperate one, solely for myGov. The myGov email was created about 8 years ago after an attempted hack (and frankly abysmal response from them.)
I spent time yesterday...

I've had credit blocks in place for 2 years because of previous data...
The age cut off is weird. Wonder if it to do with the credit risk? I believe you need to be 18 to apply for a credit card, but only 16 to be a secondary card holder.
Got partner to check again, email was not in spam, but promotions folder. Sigh.
Singapore to Paris a few years ago. Young couple with toddler already at the gate. Child was feverish and vomiting, floppy and listless. Medics assessed and hauled off for treatment. Did not board. Flight only slightly delayed.
A washing machine. Or within 500m of a laundromat.
A retractable washing line over the bathtub. So 70s but so useful.
A working breakfast hatch in retro country Australian motels. I was talked out of buying a flat in an ex-motel over 20 years ago that had one. Still haven't got over it.
Did the same route in December with a 40 min change. I was concerned so checked gate locations on the airport map before I flew.
The flight from Paris was delayed by 10 mins but they made up time. Only 2 guys checking passports.
No issues at all.
Probably the least stressful airport experience...
When my kids were smaller, losing them was a real fear. Not so much now because they are a lot taller and not as hard to lose in a crowd. But that anxiety is still there.
Last of all - what we took:
We generally only travel with carry-on bags, with 3-5 changes of clothes. We generally book accommodation with a washing machine or within walking distance of a laundromat. This trip, we each took:
puffer jacket
raincoat
x1/2 jumpers (the kids had 2 because like...
Planning for COVID and other travel disruptions:
All of us – with the exception of Miss 9 – had flu shots the week before we went. Miss 9 was too young to have one at the chemist (in Tasmania you have to be 10+) and flu shots weren't yet available in GP clinics.
Mr flyingsal wasn’t eligible...
