Article: The Practicalities of Working on a Plane

Would be interesting if any organisations had a "Fly only business" rule for exactly this reason, or conversely, an explicit "no working on flights" rule?

Passport Holders, Neck Pouches, Money Belts and Shoulder Bags

Yep I've had one similar for about ten years as well. In fact sometime ago Bellroy did a collaboration with Qantas creating QF branded ones of these. At the time my work gifted me that as a birthday present, and I was excited to use it. Problem is that my original one is not ready to replace, so...

Article: The Practicalities of Working on a Plane

Now here's an idea, the airlines should allow USB-C (or HDMI) ports to connect into the seatback display. Keep your laptop closed in the seatback pocket, or on the tray and continue working away! I mean this is such a simple thing to implement when they refurbish those systems...unsure why they...

Article: The Practicalities of Working on a Plane

I'm certain this isn't the issue, but its worth asking - it's not just slipping out is it? I know if you have a heavy power adapter that plugs directly into the power socket, these can be quite loose and not maintain a good connection. This issue becomes more obvious if the plane uses a...

    Status match with Ba

I can't see any airline offering a status match to members of a program that's being deserted. It's a sellers market in that case.

Whereas upon re-entry into Australia..they can take a full image of your phone without any recourse. 1742951079 Am considering taking an alternative phone on my next USA Trip. It becomes hard though when so many of those "Authentication" and Multi-Factor Authentication require your account...

Article: The Practicalities of Working on a Plane

I like working on planes, I tend to get a lot done - when in the right setting - and in Economy is not this. @Matt Graham already discusses the table and privacy issues, but I'd also add its about shoulder space. If I'm using a laptop, I need to type or use the mousepad, and this means moving...

    Good noise-cancelling headphones

I've been using Soundcore A40s at home to listen to podcasts/radio shows when going to bed. Ill often wake up in the middle of the night with them still embedded in my ears. Most other earbuds these days don't fit very well for me, but the A40s seems to work a treat.

Interesting, what type of bag would you normally carry on? Even if have a roller suitcase, my personal item would likely be a backpack. I usually go for bags with luggage sleeves so they can sit on the suitcase handle.

    Best Designed Luggage and Backpack

For heavy loads a waist strap is also a blessing, shifting weight onto your hips makes the shoulder straps essentially just something to prevent the bag falling backwards. The problem is getting a back with a good waist strap that doesn't look like you're embarking on a gap year in SE Asia..

    Best Designed Luggage and Backpack

Shoulder straps come in so many varieties. Bellroy also had an issue for a while where the slips were not holding the straps and the bags were essentially sliding down peoples backs They'll be releasing trolley suitcases in a few weeks time, be interesting to see what they're priced at, I...
