Yep I've had one similar for about ten years as well. In fact sometime ago Bellroy did a collaboration with Qantas creating QF branded ones of these. At the time my work gifted me that as a birthday present, and I was excited to use it. Problem is that my original one is not ready to replace, so the QF branded one is still in Mint condition.

I've found it extremely useful, big enough for passport, notes, a plethora of cards and to slide in boarding passes as well. Despite all this it's only marginally larger than a wallet would be. I've stopped using a wallet for everyday purposes almost 6/7yrs ago so I definitely feel this when it's in my pockets.

I'm now putting two cards per slot in order to mitigate the issue. Not ideal.

Funny you mention that... In the first five years I had no such problem, but two trips in the last six months have both been characterised by "slipping cards". I'm now putting two cards per slot in order to mitigate the issue. Not ideal.

the leather is pretty supple, and given there is little 'structure' to the wallet...it's inevitable

I put it about trouser-belt height but spin it around to sit in the small of my back and it sits there quite comfortably without getting in the way while sitting or moving around.

I put things into zip lock bags for moisture protection against sweat etc and it’s easy enough to untuck my shirt and spin it around if I need to access anything.

Usually carry my passport around and spare bank cards, surplus cash etc. Doesn’t get too bulky.

And why can’t they make the Australian International drivers license the same size as the passport so you can fit that in your passport wallet?
