Pax putting phone on speaker mode throughout flight and ignoring crew requests

This is an honestly braindead take that reinforces why there is a significant increase in antisocial behaviour.

    Qantas' New A321XLR

Looks pretty tight across the shoulders.

Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

As requested by DC3: Anyone else run into Albo in the Exec Lounge at Perth Parmelia recently?

Qantas rolls out Classic Plus Flight Rewards

Goading people into flying a different carrier isn't a smart move when you're not even the 3rd best international airline in the country.

QFF Platinum requesting release of extra Classic Reward seats?

I thought as much, perhaps I'm looking too early also.

QFF Platinum requesting release of extra Classic Reward seats?

Are people seeing significant knockbacks even with ≥9 I class fares available? Had no luck this week at all despite giving 7 day ranges for departure & return and multiple destination options. Looking at BNE to CDG/LHR in Jan / Feb next year.

So... what car do you guys drive when not flying?

Part of the problem is the lack of a direct connection between taxation collected and the "service" it's being used to fund. The free riders/free loaders problem is real and something needs to be done to ensure the user pays. They should strike the excise completely and just make it based on km...

Qantas Cabin Baggage Survey Results Email

Can't fill the hold up too much, Qantas will be selling seats down there by 2030.

Qantas Cabin Baggage Survey Results Email

Nope, only Qantas in the last few years. Are the people that fly on those airlines not total morons incapable of handling their baggage efficiently or something? Rude, or accurate?

Qantas Cabin Baggage Survey Results Email

The difficulty is that a large percentage of passengers are braindead idiots who are incapable or uninterested in following basic rules. It should honestly be 1 item only, I'd even support removing all carry-on that won't fit under your seat.

Qantas surveying members about spend-based status attainment

Forget about long haul Y, who's going to actively decide to fly Qantas Int. J when not incentivized to do so? They aren't even the 3rd best option flying in and out of Australia and are generally the most expensive.

Qantas surveying members about spend-based status attainment

Maybe we will find out just how sticky people are through all of this :)

Qantas surveying members about spend-based status attainment

Domestically that may be true, but internationally? Good luck.

Qantas surveying members about spend-based status attainment

Or are they sticky because of the current arrangements?

Qantas surveying members about spend-based status attainment

Not sure how similar BA and QF are honestly, outside of being "National Carriers". Markets, geography and destinations are all vastly different. I think people forget how unique Qantas' circumstances are sometimes.

Qantas surveying members about spend-based status attainment

I think I have made this point before but something to consider would be the impact on the international business as a byproduct of changes to domestic passenger behaviours. Qantas has a relatively weak product in the international space and I imagine QFF loyalty helps them significantly here...

    Corporate travel policies

It was a joke 😆 Another problem with some policies, different people have varied perspectives on what is fair and reasonable. One thing I have noticed is that per diem spending caps tend to fall over the more diverse the travel becomes. I can tell you in Asia particularly, there is a world of...

    Corporate travel policies

Or making you fly at ungodly times, how am I supposed to fly Brisbane to Karratha in one day if my dad isn't even awake to give me a kiss on the cheek before I leave in the morning?
