I believe the standard procedure for getting your first Amex shipped overseas after the 10 days is getting verified through NotaryCam after calling Amex. From what I’ve seen chat success rate is low (personally never happened for me)

From memory I sent an ACH from Wise to Amex checking pretty easily (initiated from Wise). Was able to hit the sub on offer at the time this way as well

Unless you get Velocity to waive the cancellation fee I’d push hard to get it fixed. They can do it but you may have to push for a supervisor

It was resolved in the end. From memory I called back to Velocity the day after (16/11). Initial CSR was not much help, but I asked for a supervisor and he was able to resolved it in about 30 minutes back into the original flight. Not a fun experience
