I'll be Silver next month finally but staying that will not be good for me. I usually go with the lowest flight cost and that is usually Virgin, I find. That won't change.

I got the email. Almost up to silver, so it came at a good time. And the NBL schedule just came out too, so I was able to book flights for some away games I want to get to.

For me, it's being in the city and not have to travel into it - if I do, then it has to have a public transport nearby. And then price - I am usually a solo traveler, so for accommodation, it has to be under $150 a night (domestic). When going to a place for the first time, then I'll look at...

I find this hit and miss. I usually get the first one, but the 2nd one, only every now and then. I've never gotten the 3rd one yet.

I cancelled my renewal (ends 1st November) months ago when the changes were introduced but looks like I'll sign up again, for the online discount.

I mostly shop online (have no car) and it's easier to keep to a budget. I'll use my June discount, then cancel. And I have a delivery unlimited sub as well but I will keep that, as the minimum order amount won't effect me.

Loved the extra legroom, as well as the attention! The flight was delayed for over an hour waiting for one of the pilots, so to be seated in a roomy chair for nearly 3 hours was a bonus. I flew from Melbourne to Sydney last night on VA891. Originally got a Choice fare for less than $100 Made my bid for $70 - the lowest I could offer and won it. When I made the bid, only 2 seats were booked. This was also my first time in Business Class - thought I would have a go and try it.
