Chairman's Lounge is the' new' J during renovations. They were taking all WP through this morning. Not sure where CL are now , will have to ask a friend.

There is now. This morning on entering lounge was taken through to the old Chairman's Lounge which is now 'J' and shown where everything is. Slightly reduced offerings, and spread around the room, a coffee bar area on entry. Not sure they have it flowing smoothly yet, but I guess it's a stop...

Travelled to NZ with NB son last week. Anxious Nelly explained at gate he was with me but not WP they said that’s ok you got a green light walk on by🤣 First time I realised it was system driven. I assumed it was up to staff to turn around interlopers.

Recent BA boarding group experience in London. J and WP row 2 on Qantas ticket I was boarding group 3🤨 on boarding pass but they did call business passengers forward first so off we went out of our group 3 corral

I'm one of those sprinkles.....Today I feel doubly annoyed. Booked my 6'3" son a row 4 seat at $35;-| Just outside the 24hrs cancel window-he had to change it by a day lost the seat selection and on changing had to pay another $35 to select again. Grrrr. Learnt another Qantas rule.

Yes, you are correct lucky, row 4 often has 3 people but behind you can pick WP and above by spare middle seat even on fairly full flights. Never had a seat buddy so far behind 4. Wonder if that’ll change……

On international flights, row 4 seating is only available in advance to Platinum One, Chairman’s Lounge and Platinum members. stupidly assumed ‘only available in advance ’ meant free to select🤪

I agree, won’t businesses just add it to the cost of the seat when booking for senior staff guaranteeing their execs row 4? So it’s just opportunity to rake in some more on domestic routes.

Thankfully WP can still choose them to go across the ditch when business class is a waste of money.

We came back through Delhi last year. It was a well oiled machine, very bureaucratic but excellent experience.

Absolutely sure it will not count towards OWA, it’s main outcome is surely to try and get some points off the balance sheet but I personally cannot see a time I would ever use my points for this type of booking.
