High time we had a thread allowing SQ pax to catch up in SKL or partner lounges prior to flights.

Flying SQ218 at 00:05 Sun 12th - will be in MEL F Lounge from 10:30 to boarding on Sat night 11th - can guest if anybody interested.

Nice thread. Unlikely to make the most of this thread personally but im sure some folks will be able to meet up and have a drink or three.

I am flying this Tuesday, so can guest 2 at Sydney around 10am and guest 2 more around 1030pm at Singapore.

Hello Duffa and Cruiser Elite

I am a real Newbie at all of this so am unsure whether what I am going to request is appropriate or not. After several years of planning and saving we are finally going to take that bucket list APT river cruise in Europe with another couple. Goes without saying we have no status left after retiring. And this is going to be our first time flying SIA since QF has been our usual airline. So we are off MEL- SIN on October 5th on SQ 218 followed by SQ 26 the same day ( 23.55). Any chance do you think of someone being able to guest us into one of the lounges? Melbourne prior to the flight would be nice but Singapore between flights would be nicer still. Any lounge would do - especially since the layover between the two flights is 18 hours.

Please forgive if my request is inappropriate.

Margaret your request in far from inappropriate - might I suggest it's even 'most appropriate' - the minute you join AFF you become the member of a new family - we here in AFF land look after family members.

Your dates are way too far out for me to reply in a meaningful fashion but let's re-check as dates get closer. I am sure another AFFer who has ability to help you will be more than happy to do so.

Well I am / was / am - champs in TPR - champs with my cobber the barman in F - back in TPR now.

Flying 238 MEL-SIN Mon 14th morn - can guest 2 into SKL F in MEL approx 08:30 if anybody wants a visit - you must be holding same day B/P on a *A carrier for access.

Then flying 12 SIN-LAX on Tue 15th morn - can guest 2 into SKL F in SIN approx 07:30 if anybody wants to visit - again same day *A B/P reqd.

Don't forget to go up to the Raffles Bar -above the big DFS in T3- for a nice free coughtail to break up the wait.. (acknowledging Cruiser Elite's great recommendation earlier this year). Cheeers PJ

I like the lounge. Nice and quiet although very little food on offer. I got here after 1:00am so not looking to drink any alcohol. Managed to get an hour or so of sleep.
