Not exactly but with Dom and Krug champagnes plus a fine French red you could dream that it was the Concorde. Having a sleep in a Suite is pretty easy so it cuts down the awake time making the trip seem so much faster.

Sq Suites 63250 KF pts (with 15% online booking discount) 1 way Syd-Sin:rolleyes:

Nice to see.

What are the opinions on Suite over Business? I wasn't so much a fan of the Suite on TG F...

Fabulous to see - I have J Savers waitlisted into PEK for Mar and May - checked dates and F now available - go figure.

Would you buy an overseas property on the strength of Suites Saver trips?
They do take the pain out of travel.
Hang on I may not get the two Suites if this gets popular.....one for dining and movies and one for sleeping may become just a memory.

Also, methinx the Concorde may fly a little to quickly for optimum utilization of said facilities. :p

Posted on a wing and a prayer ...

cove that is the most relevent point - I have not experienced Suites on SQ only F night and day flts MEL-PEK/PVG/MNL and ret.

I love the day flights coz you get to enjoy ALL the amenities and services in F - the night flts where you basically sleeping seems such a waste.

How hard is it to earn 63250 KF points. You could easly earn that many QFF points in a month.

Holy toledo. Suites Savers - that's a riot. From something like 1 million points down to KF chump change. I wonder why the change of heart - or it's just moving forward?

I only got about 30k Amex MR points, however :( and I'd prefer to redeem for a longer hop than SYD-SIN myself.

I wonder if this means there will be some space opened to *A partners. EDIT: According to the Boarding Area, still nix on *A partners.

That said, there are a lot of good Amex churners (read: signups for bonuses) in the USA (and SPG ones as well) who are absolutely going to jump all over of these Suite awards. Probably the only thing that might put them off is YQ, but come on, for SQ Suites paying even $1,000 for a round trip in auxiliary isn't a big deal (and that's grossly overestimating it).

Actually a little more: 63,750. And same for SYD-HKG, so more time in Suites.

So MEL-HKG would be the best use of time/point's then?

Thinking Chinese Formula 1, a cheapy Y fair up, Suites back. :D

Edit: Great minds think alike..except Cruiser Elite is probably going for work. :D

I call it work - others hold differing views.

cove - IYHO - best Suite if travelling alone?

Now I gotta book a CX flt HKG-PEK - what chance is there I will be able to stand let alone walk when I arrive PEK?

Dom / Krug in Suites MEL-SIN - 3+hrs in TPR consuming Grande Dame - back to the Dom / Krug SIN-HKG - coupla hours in Wing / Pier - Moet I believe there huh? Can't remember what CX serve HKG-PEK in J - might be F yet depending on cost - jeez this is gonna be a bender and a half.
