I have 160000 AMEX MR points on my Ascent Premium. Should I convert to QFF,Asiamiles or Krisflyer?

Nothing for me LHR-SIN on my dates but I am looking. So far they are on waitlist for my dates.

Yes I have J Savers booked for MEL-SIN-BCN ret next June - tried to upgrade - SIN-BCN avail F on 77W but Suites not showing available on MEL-SIN.

Who knows - I will pester KF each week for next coupla months - may confirm may not.

MEL-HKG or SYD-HKG seems to be the best use of SQ points ex Australia...

Probably even worth use SPG points at 1:1 (20k:25k) on these, too...

Most seats that I've seen on a flight, is 1. Seems that you have to waitlist for more than 1...

Yippee for SG. I am now changing (or trying to change all the F seats I have on 777 to A380 suites).

I agree that they only release 1 suite per flight.

Just changed 777 F on 24/7/13 to SQ 232 for me and SQ 222 for +1 and waited listed me on SQ232

Worst case on this short day time flight, is I get 7.30 hours to myself in a suite and 4 hours extra in TPR at SIN.

I have 2 weeks with the +1 running around Italy and Croatia, so me thinks a win all round

But then she isnt buying the tix either so she should be greatful to drop me at the airport early and then she can manage her own first class day!!

Have done A380 EK and QF in F class and EY suites before, so Cove what's your verdict, will SQ be the best??

PS just moved 200k to Krisflyer in anticipation of more "playing" in my suite!

Might make doing JASA/FASA harder to retain WP on QF if I keep running off to SG!

I did one Saver and one Standard to be on the same plane as there was one of each on the 12 hour 50 minute flight.

Would probably do the same for a flight as long as your's. Just need to ensure I am totally pampered in TPR in SIN awaiting her arrival (now that sounds a bit iffy the last few words???) !!

It was 91,375 in Saver plus 178,500 in Standard to be together or split up and travel 6 hours apart and have the second flight as a Saver.
Paying the extra 87,125 points costs only about $300 real dollars to make the ATO originated points so no real pocket damage there.
If I had known about this coming it would have been Suites from SIN to LHR instead of BA in First but I am really happy tonight knowing SQ points have become quite valuable. Suites flights used to cost about a million per flight give or take a couple of hundred thousand.

Booked an F ticket from CDG BKK SYD in June in F Class (A380 to BKK then 747 to SYD)

May need to look at switching to SG suites if I can get them

Wow wow wow!!

I am currently in Bangkok and if they had F savers HKG-SIN-SYD available for 1st or 2nd of Dec, I would have cancelled my revenue Y BKK-SYD-BKK ticket and gone to HKG and flown F. There is F savers flying both legs on the 388 HKG-SIN-SYD for 30/11 which as much as I am tempted, I have dinner plans on the 30th

Anyway, looks like I will be enjoying SQ F suites sometime very soon, I don't know when, but I know it's not too far in the works

Ironical that I was a bees nostril away from buying 2 x ret J on MU for these 2 trade shows I need to attend. Had MU not bumped their direct ret Js from 2.2K to 3K they would have been already booked and paid for.

Now that is 1 quantum leap - from MU J to SQ Suites.

Ok i am now a happy soul. Finally I seem to have been able to give back to the forum that has helped me so much in the last few years. I hope you guys enjoy your forth coming trips and I look forward to booking my first suites saver.
I looked forward to continued reading about your pearls of wisdom and I hope I can come up with another just like this one
