This view with JD and the right music - wonderful way to travel!

Just for the record - due to me posting this thread, I perhaps had elevated my expectations of the flight and crew.

But what I got was fantastic. I was lucky enough to travel J, upper deck. There were only about 7 or 8 of us up there. And the two ladies who looked after us were PERFECT :)

I won´t post names (message of recognition to Red Roo in progress) but they were fantastic. 100% aussie and did their jobs perfectly.

Awesome flight.

My youngest daughter was in the Australian Girls Choir when it partnered with QF, probably when it peaked. The majority of her performances involved her white Qantas shirt performing at many sporting and media events, Boy from Oz and part of a small group that sung at Hugh Jackman's 40th. Was a nice family link with my father spending 30 years with QF.
Agree nothing beats getting on an Oz plane coming home and a shame the family prefers others these days.

Gee, I wish I could still get that feeling but unfortunately I live in Perth - no Qantas flights to/from there to welcome me home!
